Does anybody buy that dark roast coffee is made that way on purpose?  Seems to me that it went something like this…

“Hey Frank.  Whatta we gonna do with this batch of beans we scorched?”

To which Frank replied…

“You know what,  Johnny?  We’ll bag ‘em up and sell ‘em as  ‘dark roast’.  Whaddya think?”

Coffee is coffee.

It is either good or not.  Dark Roast just tastes burnt…period.
